The Computational Capacity of the Universe

Check out this paper. It outlines what the universe could compute if it were viewed as one giant computer. It also gives a rough estimate of how much computational power would be required to simulate the universe in its entirety. Think of it as the best argument for an upper bound on Moore's Law.
